Sustainable water means the availability of clean water for future generations to use for consumption, agriculture, and industry. In the Middle East, water is a particularly scarce and precious commodity. This award recognises the company that has done outstanding work sourcing and producing clean water using the most sustainable industry practices including ethical sourcing, use of low-energy production systems and recycling. Another key consideration will be the creation of popular social awareness programs in the general public that highlight and promote better water conservation practices.
